Goals, Tasks and Activities
Goals
At 37 Goals, we see the definition of a Goal as the finish line. Achieving your goal is the end of a long transformative process. Goals help us stay focused and give us a sense of direction; your entire journey will be based on what you want to achieve as your goal. Their purpose in this is to make us feel excited about the future and give us something to work towards.
Where do you see yourself in a year? It's never too late to make impactful and meaningful changes in our life. Think about it, break your idea into smaller tasks, and change your life with 37 Goals.
Tasks
When thinking about your big goal, you will need to reflect: what steps do I need to take to get there? The answer will be your tasks.
Tasks are the individual steps that make up the path to success, like items that can be completed in a relatively short period of time. By breaking down complex ideas into smaller, more manageable tasks, you will feel stronger and much more motivated to continue your journey.
Of course, it's hard to imagine, for example, speaking fluent Hungarian in one year. But how about learning the alphabet in a month? Breaking down a big idea into smaller steps will definitely keep you on the right track!
Activities
What can you do today to achieve your goals?
Activities are incorporated into your routine, small daily or perhaps weekly steps towards your vision. These small steps are often organized and structured to ensure you are being efficient with your time and effort. Being immersed in activities is a fundamental part of progressing and developing.
Try setting aside ten minutes a day to practice a language, learn new words, or read a small paragraph. Small activities will develop into a routine of tasks and, in the end, accomplish a goal!
